U Pivrnce

While exploring the beautiful city of Prague, we stumbled one evening into an unassuming restaurant near Old Town Square with a unique twist. 

U-Pivrnce is a restaurant serving up classic Czech cuisine in a relaxed pub-like atmosphere. What makes the restaurant unique is that there are cartoons by the famous Czech painter Petr Urban that adorn the basement walls. They have also given full reign for people to doodle on the walls and they are covered with crayon drawings and handwriting. You could look around for hours at all the creative drawings - Even the bathroom is a sight to be seen! 

The food is cheap and delicious and the service is top notch. We ordered up the pork schnitzel and a salad and the portions are quite big! .They also serve their very own beer on tap, which was a unique touch. 

We would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for good food and drinks with a top notch atmosphere in the heart of Old Town Square.
