If you're a fan of the 1920s prohibition era and secret bars, then you absolutely must visit the Jerry Thomas Speakeasy.

Named after the legendary Italian bartender Jerry Thomas, the Speakeasy is a paradise for cocktail lovers. The bar was created by a group of bartenders who wanted to establish a space where they could refine their craft. It was the first known 'secret bar' in Rome. The 1920s jazz, dimly lit ambiance, and secret password all contribute to making this bar feel unique and exclusive. It has been listed among the '50 world's best bars' for over five years.

We received a recommendation from a friend and naturally had to check it out for ourselves. We navigated our way down an alleyway that led to the bar, where we noticed only an unmarked door. When we knocked, we were required to provide the password for entry. Once inside, we were seated at an old piano repurposed as a table. We thoroughly enjoyed the music and the overall vibe of the place. The servers were very knowledgeable and assisted us in selecting the perfect drinks.
