Nicholas Cage's Future Tomb

Nicholas Cage future tomb in New Orleans, Louisiana

As you may not have known, Nicholas Cage has an undeniable affinity for the city of New Orleans - his love is so profound that he has even declared his future resting place right in the heart of the French Quarter.

Located in St. Louis Cemetery No. 1 close to the tomb of the Voodoo Priestess Marie Laveau herself, stands a large 9-foot pyramid with one solitary Latin phrase written on it, "omnia ab uno", which translates to "Everything from One". Cage constructed the tomb for himself back in 2010 and has since been spotted making visits to his future gravesite back in 2020.

It comes as no surprise that Cage chose New Orleans as his ultimate resting place. He once purchased the famously haunted LaLaurie Mansion in the French Quarter for $3.4 million dollars. Even recently, Cage shot his latest film, "Renfield", exclusively in New Orleans.

Over the years, many have speculated about the true meaning behind the pyramid and why Nicholas Cage built his future tomb here - his lips have been sealed on the matter. The mystery surrounding it only adds to its macabre allure, reminiscent of the enigmas Cage has sought in his film, "National Treasure."

It's important to note that venturing into New Orleans' sacred cemeteries without a guide is against the law due to previous acts of vandalism. Be sure to secure a reservation in advance, as these tours tend to quickly fill up.
