Le Wagon Bleu

While you may be headed to the Monmartre area to catch the 'Moulin Rouge' show, there is an opportunity to travel there via the Orient Express...with a small twist.

Prior to attending the Moulin Rouge show, we made dinner reservations at 'Le Wagon Bleu' (The Blue Wagon). The restaurant transports you back in time as you sit in an authentic train car from the Orient Express. While the train car itself does not move along the tracks, It feels like you are dining on a fancy train in Paris in the 1920s with the vibrant blue seats and wooden panelling. 

Immersed in the wondrous setting, we enjoyed the French cuisine accompanied by a delicious wine and beer selection. The ambiance of the restaurant sent us to a bygone era and made for an unforgettable dining experience which was a memorable prelude to the Moulin Rouge show.
