Heart of Bled

On the shores of Lake Bled, a giant heart stands alone on a pier overlooking the lake - an iconic symbol of the beauty and serenity that Lake Bled holds. Witnessing every sunrise and sunset in the city, the heart stands tall, sending out its positive and radiant energy to the world.

The art piece was erected over five years ago and, while it has been destroyed more than once, it has been re-built, a proud symbol at the core of Lake Bled - love conquers all. 

It's hard not to feel yourself drawn to the heart, as it beckons you towards the shores. We spent the sunset watching the boats and passersby and marvelling at beautiful Bled Castle in the distance - it was an unforgettable evening. If you are visiting Lake Bled, you must stop at this magnificent city centrepiece, and definitely snap a photo or two!
