Located in the seaside town of Hafnarfjordur just 10 minutes south of Reykjavik, Hotel Viking will transport you to a different time in Iceland's history and let you feel like you're living your inner Viking. The rooms are designed as a Viking Village with the rooms crafted as traditional Viking cottages.
If you fancy unleashing your inner Valkyrie, you can head to the hotel's restaurant 'Valhalla' for a traditional Viking feast. Or if you're a history buff, you can head upstairs where there is a West Nordic Theme of Iceland, Greenland and the Faroe Islands.
Outside the hotel, you can stroll along the marina and watch the sunset on the water. We truly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a unique hotel stay outside the city centre.
