Divine Cave Experience

If you've dreamt of overlooking the Santorini Caldera in your very own hottub in your cave hotel, look no further than the Divine Cave Suites. 

We stayed at the Divine Caves in Imerovigli for our honeymoon and it was one of the most luxurious hotels we have ever stayed in. The hotel itself is carved into the rocks of Santorini's caldera. Each of the 10 rooms has its own private hottub with views overlooking the epic Aegean sea - the sunset views from our hotel were incomparable...especially the fact that we didn't have to battle tourists for a good sunset spot!

There is also an a la carte breakfast menu you fill in each day and you can choose to have your breakfast in suite, in your jacuzzi via a floating breakfast or in your own private rooftop caldera (weather permitting). The food was absolutely delicious and we chose from a range of eggs, pancakes, french toast and smoothies.  We also dined at the restaurant for dinner and the views alone made this restaurant truly magical. The food was also top notch and was among some of the best food we ate while in Greece. 

The rooms also connect to the old walking path to Oia and you can opt to take the 2.5 hour per way walk along the caldera to reach Oia which we did on our second day. This is a must-do as the view is absolutely stunning (just be sure to pack your sunscreen and water!)

The Divine Cave Experience was truly a one-of-a kind unique accommodation and I would highly recommend it. It was a perfect blend of luxury, elegance and tranquility - Just be sure to book in advance as the rooms definitely fill up quickly.
